Technical Co-Founder / CTO — CreativeWorkOslo, Norway | Equity-bASed | Full-time commitment expected in 2027 About CreativeWorkCreativeWork is an early-stage technology startup founded in Oslo, building a digital ecosystem for the creative industry We're making it eASier for creative professionals to offer their services, connect with clients, manage bookings, collaborate, deliver work, and get paid securely — all through one platform. We've started with photography and videography in Norway, but our ambition is international. Over time, we plan to expand into other creative disciplines and introduce collaboration tools, studio and equipment rentals, and resources that help independent creatives grow their businesses. CreativeWork is already live!We're a registered Norwegian company with a launched platform, early users, and a growing product foundation. We've already developed: Creator profiles, portfolios, and customizable service packages. Search, booking requests, messaging, and notifications. Stripe Connect integration for secure payments and payouts. Structured cancellation, refund, and booking workflows. Delivery confirmation, automated completion, reviews, and dispute resolution. Administrative and platform management tools. We're now focusing on growth, product improvements, and preparing for our next stage. The OpportunityWe're looking for a Technical Co-Founder / CTO who wants to take ownership of the technology and help build CreativeWork into an international company. This isn't a traditional developer position. We're looking for an entrepreneurial partner who can shape the product, make technical decisions, and help build a scalable business. You'll be responsible for: Leading technical architecture, development, and infrAStructure. Taking ownership of the existing application and codebASe. Ensuring security, reliability, performance, and scalability. Developing new features and improving existing workflows. Defining engineering processes and eventually building a technical team. Participating in product strategy, fundraising, and accelerator programs. Who We're Looking ForIdeally, you have: A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong full-stack development experience, particularly backend engineering and architecture. Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, databASes, and modern web technologies. Experience building and maintaining real production applications. Knowledge of cloud infrAStructure, APIs, security, and integrations. Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a sense of ownership. Experience with startups, marketplaces, payment systems, or technical leadership is a major advantage, but not a requirement. Most importantly, you're someone who wants to build a company, not simply work on another project. About the FounderI'm a product and service designer with around 10 years of experience in digital innovation, complex services, and product development. My background includes working with organizations such AS DNB, Sopra Steria, and other companies across the Norwegian technology and design industry. I hold a mASter's degree in Design from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). I'll lead product vision, UX, business development, customer research, and partnerships, while we share responsibility for the company's strategy and growth. What We OfferMeaningful co-founder equity, negotiated bASed on commitment, responsibilities, and existing contributions. An existing company, launched platform, and early user bASe — not just an idea. Real ownership of the technology, engineering strategy, and future technical team. Flexible initial involvement, with availability for full-time commitment during 2027 expected. Participation in incubators, accelerators, funding opportunities, and potential international expansion. We're actively exploring accelerator programs and funding opportunities in Norway and internationally, with the ambition of scaling beyond the Norwegian market. CreativeWork is currently pre-revenue, and a fixed salary is not guaranteed at this stage. Compensation and ownership will be discussed transparently.
