Andøya Space is growing, and we are looking for an Assets Manager to join the Operations and Assets department, answering directly to the Director of Operations and Assets.
As Assets Manager, you will play a key role in the management, coordination, and development of the company's assets, systems, infrastructure, and operational sites. You will be responsible for the overall administrative management and coordination of the Assets function, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, operational readiness, lifecycle management, and long-term sustainability of the spaceport and its supporting infrastructure.
The Assets Manager works closely with Team Leads within Systems, Configuration, and Launch Area, while coordinating with projects, technical teams, and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for establishing structure, processes, and governance that support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. The Assets Manager also supports the identification, prioritization, and development of assets, infrastructure, and operational improvement initiatives, ensuring that the department's needs and opportunities are effectively communicated and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Line management responsibility for the Team Leads of Systems, Configuration and Launch Area.
Assets, infrastructure, and operational site management.
Operational readiness, asset lifecycle management, and long-term planning.
Resource planning, budgeting, KPI follow-up, and regulatory compliance.
Prioritization and promotion of assets, infrastructure, and operational improvement initiatives.

This position requires a high level of security suitability and eligibility for security clearance at the level of SECRET / NATO SECRET, in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act.
Qualifications
Relevant higher education within engineering, business administration, logistics, asset management, or a related discipline
Experience from asset management, operations management, or technical environments
Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
Good understanding of systems, infrastructure, and asset lifecycle management
Experience with resource planning, prioritization, and coordination
Experience with KPI monitoring and regulatory compliance is an advantage
Strong digital skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage
Valid driver's license (Class B) and ability to obtain security clearance
