Join our purchasing team and help strengthen our global supply chain

We are looking for a structured, proactive, and commercially minded Purchaser to join our procurement team. Workplace is Oslo or Horten. as a Purchaser at Zenitel, you will play an important role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of components, materials, and products that support our daily operations and long-term business objectives. We are a global company operating in the electrical and electronics industry, working with suppliers and manufacturing partners both locally and internationally. You will become part of a collaborative team where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities, contribute to continuous improvements, and develop your procurement expertise. Key responsibilities: Order placement and follow up Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, inventory management and contract negotiations Keeping data on own products and suppliers in the ERP system updated assist in vendor selection and negotiation processes Support sales organization/product management in sourcing activities for new products Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to forecast demand Ensure timely delivery of components to support production schedules and project timelines Analyze purchasing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement Collaborate closely with the procurement team and other departments with focus on operations and continuous improvements Desired qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent within supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field Documented work experience within supply chain can compensate for formal education Good commercial understanding and strong analytical skills Good communication skills in English and preferably also in Norwegian Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage, but not a requirement We are looking for you whoare structured, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
