We are currently looking for a Cost Estimator HVAC to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain.

Duties and responsibilitiesPrepare and maintain cost estimates for products, services, and ship interior projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, RFQs and other project documentation.
Identify and quantify materials, labour requirements and other project cost drivers.
Develop and maintain project calculations and technical proposals.
Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, customers and subcontractors to clarify project requirements.
Monitor actual costs against estimates and support cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain and continuously improve cost databases and estimation tools.
Participate in site visits and gather relevant information to support cost assessments.
QualificationsRelevant higher education, or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials and project costing.
Experience from the interior and/or HVAC industry is an advantage.
Technical understanding and commercial awareness.
Excellent Excel and general software skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
