🌌 Join the Aurora Wonderland Team – Winter Season 2026–2027 🌌

We're looking for one new Team Member to complete our team for the upcoming winter season. If you enjoy Arctic nature, tourism, varied workdays, and the idea of working at a small basecamp surrounded by the beautiful Lyngen Alps, this might be the job for you. 💼 What You'll Do As a Basecamp Team Member, you'll have varied workdays and take part in many different areas of our daily operations. We offer outdoor activities, serve meals, and provide overnight accommodation, so your tasks may range from housekeeping in our Crystal Lavvos to guiding snowshoe walks, preparing meals, and helping guests get ready for activities. No two days are quite the same, and there is always something happening at the basecamp. Tasks may include: Hosting and assisting guests Preparing and serving simple meals Cleaning and housekeeping Assisting with snowmobile tours Guiding snowshoe walks Driving and transporting guests Preparing equipment and organizing activities Snow clearing and other outdoor work General practical and logistical tasks around the basecamp ✅ What We're Looking For We are looking for an active, positive, and flexible person who enjoys the Arctic outdoors and likes a varied, hands-on workday. You should enjoy being part of a small, close-knit team and working with international guests. One day you might guide a snowshoe walk; the next you could prepare lunch, clean a Crystal Lavvo, help guests, or get equipment ready for an activity. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys variety, teamwork, guest interaction, practical work, and Arctic life. 📌 Requirements Fluent and comfortable communicating in English Enjoys working with people and providing good guest service Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in cold and snowy conditions Comfortable with cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and kitchen duties Physically fit and ready for active workdays Flexible and able to adapt when plans or tasks change Able to follow routines, instructions, and safety procedures Positive attitude and comfortable working as part of a small team Willing to work during Christmas, New Year, and the busy winter season Happy to help wherever needed rather than having one fixed role Interested in Arctic nature and life in Northern Norway 🌟 Bonus Skills -- Nice to Have, Not Required Experience in any of the following is a plus: Tourism, hospitality, or customer service Cooking or kitchen work Cleaning and housekeeping Guiding or outdoor tourism Snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, or snowmobiling Photography Valid Class B driver's license Comfortable driving in winter conditions Additional languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, German, or Mandarin 🏔️ What We Offer A unique, hands-on experience working in Arctic tourism A varied role with different tasks throughout the season Training for the different tasks and activities at the basecamp The opportunity to work with guests from around the world A small and friendly team environment Work surrounded by the Lyngen Alps, fjords, snow, and Northern Lights Competitive salary On-site accommodation available 📌 Open Position Basecamp Team Member -- 1 position We are looking for one person to complete our winter team , starting around December or January and working until the end of March. 💌 Interested?
