Researcher in Immunology

About the positionApplicants are invited for a 3-year position as Researcher or Postdoc in immunology, based at the Department of Immunology and Transfusion medicine, Institute of Clinical Medicine. The research aim for the position is related to preclinical evaluation of immune responses following influenza vaccination. More specifically, the tasks will be assessments of antibody formation in sera and cellular responses against seasonal and pandemic strains of influenza, as well as investigations of protective immunity.  The position is located to the research group of Gunnveig Grødeland: Influenza and adaptive immunity - Institute of Clinical Medicine ResponsibilitiesMeasure antibody responses in sera following vaccination Evaluate T cell formation by flow cytometry Evaluate antigen specific B-/T-cells before/after vaccination Assess vaccine induced protective immunity Contribute to supervision of master students What skills are important in this role?In this role you must have Appointment to the position of researcher in position code 1109 requires a doctoral degree in a relevant field. Experience with flow cytometry.
