Delicatessen Tapasbar opened its first restaurant at Grünerløkka in 1999. Since then, we have grown to five locations and helped make Spanish tapas a familiar part of the Norwegian restaurant scene. At Delicatessen Aker Brygge, great food, wine and hospitality are at the heart of what we do. What we are looking for We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Delicatessen Aker Brygge. You enjoy being part of the daily operation, leading from the front and working alongside your team. You bring structure, energy and consistency to a busy kitchen and take pride in developing both people and the operation. Your role will include Lead the daily kitchen operation Manage and develop the kitchen team Work hands-on during service Manage staffing, schedules and ordering Monitor food cost, inventory and waste Ensure food safety and IK-Mat standards Work closely with the General Manager What we are looking for A confident and supportive leader Structured, reliable and solution-oriented Comfortable in a busy service environment Passionate about food and hospitality A strong team player Qualifications Relevant experience from a professional kitchen Experience as Head Chef, Sous Chef or similar Good understanding of kitchen operations and food cost Knowledge of food safety and IK-Mat Spanish cuisine experience is a plus, but not required Fluent in English or Norwegian We offer Competitive salary and conditions A key leadership role with real influence Personal and professional development A strong and supportive team culture Busy, varied and rewarding workdays About the employer Friends Hospitality Group is one of Norway's largest restaurant and nightlife groups, operating around 60 venues across the country.
